Three-vehicle crash in Charleston

CHARLESTON — A local man was injured during a three-vehicle crash in Charleston on Tuesday evening.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 105 near Pond View Road at around 5:00 p.m.

According to the report, Joshua Kuhaneck, 20, of Brighton, was heading east when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway.

Kuhaneck traveled into the oncoming travel lane and struck Tyler Perkins, 31, of West Charleston.

After being hit Perkins slid into Paul Gray, 51, of Brighton.

Police say Kuhaneck was transported by Newport Ambulance to North Country Hospital to be checked for injuries.

The other drivers were not injured.

The Charleston Fire Department was on scene due to leaking fluids and also assisted with traffic control.
