Driver clocked doing 120 mph with children in vehicle on I-89, Georgia

GEORGIA — A 41-year-old man from Colchester was cited following an incident in Georgia on Thursday.

Police say they observed a vehicle traveling north on Interstate 89 at a high rate of speed at around 11:30 a.m.

The vehicle was clocked at around 120 miles-per-hour in the posted 65 miles-per-hour zone, police say.  

According to the report, there were three young children in the back seat. 

The driver was identified as Julio Ciceron. 

He was issued a criminal citation to appear in court on September 28 for negligent operation and cruelty to children.
