NEWPORT — A two-vehicle crash in Newport this morning sent a woman to the hospital.
The crash took place on I-91 north at around 11:15 a.m.
According to the report, Jody Cleveland, 70, of Barton, was attempting to exit the interstate at exit 27 when she sideswiped Jenna Myers, 31, of Somerville, Massachusetts.
Cleveland’s vehicle partially left the roadway and came to rest in the center of the off-ramp.
She was transported to North Country Hospital by Newport EMS to be treated for injuries.
According to the report, Myers was uninjured.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
