Burglary in Irasburg

IRASBURG — Police are investigating a burglary at a residence in Irasburg.

This incident took place on Route 58 E.

The homeowner reported that he had been away between September 16, and 19, and had returned to find his garage burglarized.

There was also damage done to a truck parked in the driveway.

The suspect had gained entry into a locked garage and taken a 6” orbital air sander, a 4” orbital air sander, a 4.5” electric grinder, a 6” electric grinder, numerous socket sets, as well as tools contained in five plastic totes.

According to the report, the rear window of a Chevrolet 2500 pickup had also been smashed and wiring harnesses to the plow was cut or stolen.

Tools were taken from the truck as well.
