JAMESTOWN, NY — A 40-year-old man was charged after a child was left alone with an oven on.
Timothy Gonzalez was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt.
Officers responded July 2 around 11:24 a.m. to a complaint of a lost child on the East side of the city.
The child was left alone by Gonzalez for more than 20 minutes and a pizza was left in the oven with the oven on, police said.
Gonzalez was located a short period after and taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
He was also charged with criminal contempt for violating a full stay away order of protection.
