CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP, PA — A traffic stop on Route 219 Northbound near Mile Marker 48 led to the arrest of a driver on drug charges.
Officers stopped a vehicle traveling 82 mph in a 65 mph zone at about 10:54 a.m. July 8.
During the interaction, officers observed suspicious behavior and obtained consent to search the vehicle.
The search uncovered about 120 grams of marijuana in bud form, valued at about $1,000, and about 30 grams of marijuana and THC in vape form.
The driver was taken into custody and arraigned before Judge Bell.
