HARRIETSTOWN, NY — New York State Police arrested and charged Adam J. Stevens, 41, of Saranac Lake, with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree on July 5, 2026.
Troopers responded to County Route 47 in the town of Harrietstown at approximately 2:26 p.m. for a report of a domestic dispute.
An investigation determined that Stevens and the victim were involved in a verbal argument that escalated, causing Stevens to become irate.
As the victim was leaving the residence in a 2022 Hyundai, Stevens kicked the rear of the vehicle, causing damage.
Stevens was processed at SP Ray Brook and was later arraigned in the Town of Brighton Court, where he was released.
