SWANTON, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash at a Tractor Supply store.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks received a report at approximately 12:27 p.m. July 5, 2026, of a crash at the Tractor Supply on Highgate Road where the vehicle had fled the scene.
Police discovered that the Swanton Police Department had an active involvement with the suspected vehicle.
The investigation identified the operator as Noreen Konkle, 60, of Burbank, California.
Konkle was issued a citation to appear before Franklin County Superior Court on July 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. to answer to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
