Woman arrested on criminal threatening charge in Burke

BURKE, VT — A St. Johnsbury woman was arrested on a criminal threatening charge July 5.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were dispatched at approximately 10:33 a.m. to a report of a threatening complaint in Burke.

An investigation revealed that Robin Noyes, 39, of St. Johnsbury, had threatened to hit William Mitchell, 60, of St. Johnsbury, with a baseball bat.

Noyes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Noyes was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 27 at 8:30 a.m.
