STARKSBORO, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 116 at the intersection of Ireland Road on June 29, 2026.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:38 a.m.
The investigation showed that a 2005 Jeep Liberty operated by Timothy Dragon, 47, of Middlebury, was traveling north on Route 116.
A 2017 Subaru Crosstrek operated by April Hill, 48, of Starksboro, was traveling south on Route 116.
Hill turned left onto Ireland Road and struck Dragon’s vehicle.
Hill sustained minor injuries and was transported to Porter Medical Center.
Dragon sustained minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
The Starksboro Fire Department and Bristol Rescue assisted at the scene.
Hill was cited for violating 23 VSA 1047, “Vehicles turning left.”
The weather was clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
