Two stabbed in Olean

OLEAN, NY — Two people suffered life-threatening stab wounds during a fight on June 26, 2026.

Members of the Olean Police Department responded to a fight in progress call in the 300 block of North 15th Street at approximately 1 a.m.

Officers located two victims who each sustained life-threatening laceration wounds to their arm from being stabbed.

Officers provided lifesaving care and both victims were transported to Olean General Hospital for further treatment.

The Criminal Investigation Unit investigated the case and arrested Patrick Sisti, of Olean, on two counts of first-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sisti was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail after arraignment.

Members of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Olean Police Department.
