NORTH EAST, NY — The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on State Route 22 on the morning of June 29, 2026.
The accident involved a motor vehicle and two motorcycles that collided near 5761 Route 22.
One of the motorcycle operators died from injuries sustained in the collision.
The other motorcycle operator was transported to Vassar Hospital in critical condition.
The operator of the motor vehicle was also transported to Vassar Hospital for medical evaluation.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
