Man arrested on drug charge in Randolph

RANDOLPH, VT — A Massachusetts man was arrested on drug charges after state police found a disabled vehicle on Interstate 89 on June 26, 2026.

Troopers located the disabled motor vehicle on Interstate 89 north near milemarker 27.8 at approximately 7:02 p.m.

Following an investigation and search of the vehicle, troopers developed probable cause to arrest an occupant.

Hussein A. Mohamed, 19, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell or dispense cocaine.

Mohamed was also found to have an active in-state warrant for his arrest.

He was transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing and later lodged at a correctional facility.
