UNION, NY — A domestic incident on Campville Road ended peacefully Saturday after several hours of negotiations.
New York State Police responded to a reported domestic incident at a residence on Campville Road shortly before 10 a.m. June 26, 2026.
The sole occupant of the residence initially refused to exit the home.
No one else was inside the residence.
Following several hours of negotiations, the occupant surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody without incident.
Police said there was no threat to the public during the incident but asked motorists and residents to avoid the area while police activity was ongoing.
