LYONS, NY — A Williamson man faces multiple felony charges following a vehicle pursuit that spanned four towns in Wayne County.
Christopher Haas, 40, of Williamson, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office after a traffic stop led to a chase through the towns of Sodus, Williamson, Arcadia and Marion.
Deputies and New York State Police pursued the vehicle before taking Haas into custody.
Haas was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer.
He also received citations for speed in zone, reckless driving, moving from lane unsafely, improper turn and other traffic violations.
Haas is being held in the Wayne County Jail.
He will appear in Sodus, Williamson, Arcadia and Marion town courts at later dates to answer the charges.
