CUYLER, NY — A 41-year-old man was arrested on rape and other charges following an investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Pablo A. Rodriguez, of Pitcher, was taken into custody at 5:41 a.m. June 25.
Officers began their investigation at approximately 10:55 p.m. June 24 in the Town of Cuyler.
Through the course of the investigation, authorities determined Rodriguez had violated an order of protection and had inappropriate sexual contact with a victim known to him, according to the sheriff’s office.
Rodriguez was charged with first-degree rape, four counts of first-degree criminal contempt and unlawful imprisonment.
He was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process at 9:30 p.m. June 25.
Rodriguez was remanded to the Cortland County Jail with no bail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 13 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town of Cuyler Court.
