MARLTON, NJ — A 28-year-old man has been charged with multiple offenses related to child sexual abuse material following an investigation by the Evesham Township Police Department.

Shaun Hare, of Marlton, was arrested June 23, 2026, after police developed information during an unrelated investigation indicating he was involved in an online relationship with an underage female.

Police determined Hare had been using his cell phone to communicate with a 14-year-old female from Texas.

The two initially met via the OmeTV stranger video chat application, according to police.

Hare and the juvenile communicated extensively over a two-month period and exchanged sexually explicit images and videos at Hare’s direction, police said.

Once the juvenile female was identified, Evesham Township police began a joint investigation with the Rowlett Police Department in Texas.

The juvenile was located and confirmed to be safe, police said.

Hare was charged with first-degree manufacturing child sexual abuse material, third-degree sending obscene material to a minor, third-degree debauching the morals of a child and third-degree possession of less than 1,000 items of child sexual abuse material.

He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine whether Hare victimized any additional juveniles while online.
