Missing juvenile sought in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old boy last seen June 18.

Kyir D. Maxfield was reported missing from his residence on the 1800 block of Harrison Street by his mother after he left home without his cell phone.

He was last seen at approximately 6:50 p.m. in the area of 700 W. Butler Street.

Later that day, his grandmother spotted him while driving near the 3800 block of N. Franklin Street, but he ran off before she could contact him.

Maxfield is described as 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

He is known to frequent the area of 8th and Butler streets.
