RICHMONDVILLE, NY — A man was arrested on domestic violence charges after deputies learned of a physical altercation while conducting a separate investigation.
Corey J. Landauer, 35, of Richmondville, was taken into custody on the morning of June 18, 2026, according to the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies executing a search warrant and conducting interviews related to another investigation were made aware of a physical domestic altercation that had occurred the preceding evening.
Landauer was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree for violating an order of protection through physical contact, a class E felony.
He was also charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony.
Additional charges included assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Landauer was arraigned before the Schoharie County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released on pre-trial conditions including electronic monitoring.
