LEWISTON, ME — Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of Walnut Street and Howard Street on June 21, 2026.
The Lewiston Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 5:11 p.m.
Officers were assisted by the Criminal Investigation Division.
No injuries were reported, but at least one building sustained damage from the gunfire.
Police are seeking to identify an individual shown in photographs released by the department in connection with the incident.
