LYNDON, VT — A local man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant following a foot pursuit June 17.
Officers with the Lyndonville Police Department located Joseph Greenwood, 45, of Lyndonville on Broad Street at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Greenwood was the subject of an active arrest warrant at the time, according to police.
Following a brief foot pursuit, Greenwood was taken into custody.
He was later transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Center, where he was held in the custody of the Department of Corrections for lack of $100 bail.
The Vermont State Police assisted the Lyndonville Police Department in the incident.
