BROADALBIN, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on State Highway 29 at County Highway 138 on Saturday morning.
The fire company was dispatched at 9:28 a.m.
Police, Lake Valley EMS and the Fulton County Emergency Management Office also responded to the scene.
Fire police from the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company shut down traffic around the crash site.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was called to the scene for additional manpower.
Officials reported at least one person was trapped in a vehicle, and a LifeNet medical helicopter was placed on standby.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was later released from the scene and placed on standby for all Broadalbin calls.
The LifeNet helicopter was canceled.
