Body found in Roxbury

BOSTON, MA — A person was found dead Friday afternoon in Roxbury, prompting a death investigation by Boston police.

Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to a radio call for a found body in the area of 100 Malcolm X Boulevard at approximately 2:24 p.m. on June 19, 2026.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
