ROYALTON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 35-year-old man on a domestic assault charge early Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to a domestic disturbance on North Main Street at approximately 12:22 a.m. June 16.
The investigation determined that Darius T. Pinion, 35, of Royalton, caused pain to a family or household member, police said.
Pinion was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Royalton Barracks.
He was later lodged at a correctional facility to await a court appearance.
Police do not release the names of victims of domestic violence.
