CHAMPLAIN, NY — New York State Police charged a 39-year-old man with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Criminal Trespass 2nd degree on June 13, 2026.
Jordan Mesec, of Champlain, was arrested after troopers responded to a residence on Church Street in the town of Champlain at approximately 9:25 p.m. for a report of a criminal trespass complaint.
An investigation determined Mesec had entered the residence without permission.
When troopers arrived on scene, Mesec was located inside the kitchen area of the residence.
Troopers requested Mesec step outside to speak with them.
While exiting the residence, Mesec placed an item on the kitchen counter, which was later identified as drug paraphernalia.
Mesec was subsequently arrested.
During a search incident to arrest, troopers located narcotics in his possession.
Mesec was transported to SP Champlain for processing and later released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Champlain Court at a later date in June.
