Multiple arrests made by Rhode Island State Police

CRANSTON, RI — The Rhode Island State Police Detective Bureau announced multiple arrests made between Thursday and Friday on various charges ranging from drug possession to child endangerment.

Derek Paolucci, 30, of Woonsocket, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance less than 10 grams by the ACI Investigations Unit.

He was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $1,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.

Julio Davila, 29, of Providence, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance greater than 10 grams less than 1 ounce by the ACI Investigations Unit.

He was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $1,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.

Cordell Dunbar, 26, of Flint, Michigan, was charged Thursday as a fugitive of justice from the State of Connecticut by the ACI Investigations Unit.

He was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition proceedings and was remanded into the custody of the Sheriff’s Department pending his return to Connecticut.

Samuel Laudone, 32, of Westerly, was arrested Thursday by members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for possession of child pornography.

He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to Fourth Division District Court.

Laudone was arraigned before Judge Mary E. McCaffrey, where bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance, with the special conditions of limited internet access and no intentional contact with minors.

Adam Pierce, 47, of Providence, was arrested Thursday by the Special Victims Unit assisted by the Violent Fugitive Task Force for three counts of felony child endangerment.

He was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later arraigned in Sixth Division District Court.

Schmitt Prado, 31, of Providence, was arrested Friday by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of Providence Police Department.

Prado was charged with two counts of felony assault, possession of firearm without a license (pistol), and firing in a compact area.

The charges stemmed from an assault and shooting at the Paris Lounge on June 7.

Prado was taken into custody without incident and turned directly over to the Providence Police uniform patrol on scene.

Freile Perez Fajardo, 26, of Providence, was arrested Friday by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of Providence Police Department.

Perez Fajardo was charged with felony assault and conspiracy to commit felony assault.

The charges stemmed from an assault and shooting at the Paris Lounge on June 7.

Perez Fajardo was taken into custody without incident and turned directly over to the Providence Police uniform patrol on scene.
