MAYFIELD, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a structure fire on Progress Road on Friday at 12:44 p.m.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for automatic mutual aid.
Police and Lake Valley EMS were also dispatched to the scene.
The Fulton County Emergency Management Office responded.
The Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department was requested to respond.
Smoke and a fire alarm activation were reported.
Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander reported a smoke condition in the basement.
The incident was determined to be a furnace malfunction.
