CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections has placed a minimum-security inmate on escape status after he failed to return to a transitional housing facility.
Eric J. Wollen, 61, of the North End Transitional Housing Unit was declared an escapee at 8:04 p.m. on June 11, 2026.
Wollen signed out of North End House at 8:45 a.m. and told staff he planned to walk to the New Hampshire Employment Security office at 45 Fruit Street.
He was expected to return at 2:15 p.m. but failed to do so.
Wollen is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.
He has hazel eyes and blond/graying hair.
He was last seen wearing a white Aruba Harley Davidson T-shirt, camouflage shorts and black boots.
He was carrying a black backpack and a white Burlington Coat Factory bag.
Wollen is incarcerated for operation after certification as a habitual offender.
His minimum custody release date is May 5, 2027, and his maximum custody release date is May 4, 2030.
