HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who left a local facility and did not return.
Whakeen Balil Meyers, 36, of Hartford, was last seen leaving Maple Leaf Manor on June 10, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m.
He told staff he was going to Westfarms Mall but failed to return to the facility.
Meyers is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black jersey with white designs, blue jeans, a black cap and black shoes.
Police said Meyers is not considered a threat to himself or others, but he requires his medications.
A Purple Alert has been issued.
