DELHI, NY — A Walton man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant stemming from charges filed during a 2024 eviction, according to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
Noel T. Wildey, 48, of Walton, surrendered to authorities on June 2.
The warrant was issued by Masonville Town Court on Feb. 4, 2025, after Wildey failed to appear on previous charges.
The original charges stem from an Oct. 16, 2024, incident when the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Civil Division conducted an eviction at a residence in the town of Masonville.
During the eviction, Wildey refused to identify himself and gave officers several false names, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies charged Wildey with false personation, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree.
He was processed and released on appearance tickets to appear in Masonville Town Court but failed to show up as directed.
Wildey was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear in Masonville Town Court at a later date.
