Woman arrested on arson charge in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A woman was arrested after allegedly setting fire to a duplex residence on Castle Avenue on June 4, 2026.

Fairfield Police and the Fairfield Fire Department responded to a suspicious fire at the residence.

Witnesses reported observing the homeowner intentionally set fire to the exterior of the residence before leaving the area in a vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle and detained Mikaelle Rosw, 36, of Fairfield.

Rosw was arrested and charged with arson in the third degree.

She was held on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court on June 5, 2026.
