Man wanted on theft charges in Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — Police are searching for a man accused of taking payment for home improvement work that was never completed.

Walter Francis Webb, 53, of Pennsylvania, is wanted by the Warrington Township Police Department on charges of theft by deception, false statement to induce agreement for home improvement services and deceptive business practices.

A resident reported to police on Nov. 11 that she entered into a home improvement contract with Webb on July 18 for work at a residence she owns on Grady Avenue.

The victim said she prepaid Webb in cash, but he never completed any work and has not returned the money.

Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman issued a warrant for Webb’s arrest on Nov. 17.

Webb is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with blue eyes and bald.

Anyone with information on Webb’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Warrington Township Police Department.
