55 charged in Hersheypark disturbance

DERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Police have charged 55 people following a disturbance at Hersheypark last year that involved disorderly and assaultive behavior by numerous youths.

The incident occurred on April 3, 2026.

The individuals, ranging in age from 12 to 19 years old, face various misdemeanor and felony charges including simple assault, conspiracy, theft, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault and riot.

Three of those charged are 18 years of age or older.

Omar Ibraham, 19, of Harrisburg, Jerome Ross III, 18, of Harrisburg, and Quaneek Williams, 18, of Harrisburg, are among those charged.

The investigation was conducted by the Derry Township Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section with assistance from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts staff and management, local school resource officers, Dauphin County Juvenile Probation, local school officials, the Dauphin County Violent Crime Unit and the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.
