ROYERSFORD, PA — A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after allegedly striking two parked vehicles and fleeing the scene.
On Tuesday, at approximately 6:27 p.m., officers were flagged down by a man who reported observing a vehicle swerving and crossing the centerline.
The man also told officers the vehicle had struck two parked cars in front of 263 Main St. and continued driving.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, identified as Talia Brignola, 28, of Pennsylvania.
Upon speaking with Brignola, officers observed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, odor of alcoholic beverages and slow, labored actions.
Standardized field sobriety testing was conducted, and Brignola failed to successfully complete the tests.
Brignola was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
She was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility for processing and was released.
Brignola was charged with driving under the influence, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property and careless driving.
