Two arrested in firearms investigation in Millvale

MILLVALE, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Narcotics, Vice, and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant this morning leading to two arrests and the seizure of more than a dozen guns.

Detectives conducted a search at a home in the 1000 block of Evergreen Road as part of an ongoing firearms investigation.

Officers recovered 17 firearms, more than 5 pounds of marijuana, and more than $15,000 in cash.

Damion Tigney Sr. and a juvenile male were taken into custody at the scene.

Tigney is facing multiple charges including possession with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.

Firearms charges were filed against the juvenile through the juvenile court system.

County police thanked Tarentum Police, Millvale Police, Allegheny County Juvenile Probation, and Allegheny County Housing Authority Police for their assistance in the operation.
