HARTLAND, VT — A Reading man faces a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash on Town Farm Hill Road.
Michael J. Rodrigues, 41, of Reading, was arrested June 5 after Deputy Hunter Buchanan responded to the crash at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Buchanan found Rodrigues outside his vehicle with facial and bodily injuries.
During the investigation, the deputy observed signs of impairment, according to the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department.
Rodrigues was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Buchanan later contacted Rodrigues at the hospital, where he consented to a blood draw.
Rodrigues was issued a criminal citation for DUI, his second offense.
He is scheduled to appear at Windsor County Criminal Court on July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
