Brush fire reported in Broadalbin

BROADALBIN, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a brush fire on Bogden Road on Friday at 1:27 p.m.

Units were dispatched to the scene in the Town of Broadalbin.

The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was called for automatic mutual aid.

The Mayfield Fire Department was placed on standby at their station.

Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander reported a large fire in a backyard.

Perth sent a tanker, brush truck and manpower to the scene.
