Woman arrested on DWI charge in Bath

BATH, NY — A 35-year-old woman was arrested on drunken driving charges May 24, 2026, after police received multiple calls about intoxicated people at a residence on West Washington Street.

Bath Village Police said dispatchers advised patrols to watch for a vehicle with an intoxicated woman driving.

Officers observed a vehicle attempting to leave a public parking area belonging to the residence and an attached church.

Police made contact with the driver, identified as Allison Redden, of Bath.

After field sobriety tests, officers determined she was driving while intoxicated.

Redden was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with .08% blood alcohol content or more, both misdemeanors.

She was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

Redden is due in Bath Village Court at a later date.
