SCITUATE, RI — Members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested a Scituate man on drug charges June 2, 2026.
Roberto Cruz, 54, of Scituate, was arrested following the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation.
Cruz was charged with possession with intent to deliver one ounce to one kilogram of a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine, and controlled substance conspiracy.
The HIDTA Task Force was assisted by members of the Intelligence Unit, ACI Investigations, and the Cranston Police Special Investigations Unit.
Cruz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.

Man arrested on warrants in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pawtucket man on outstanding warrants June 2, 2026.
Paris P. DaSilva, 29, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody without incident.
DaSilva was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Cranston Police Department for reckless driving/eluding and obstruction.
He was also wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for reckless driving/eluding.
DaSilva was transported to the Cranston Police Department.
