PAWTUCKET, RI — A Johnston man was arrested early Sunday on a drug possession charge following a traffic stop.
David Cafaro, 32, of Johnston, was taken into custody at 3:17 a.m. on Smithfield Avenue.
He was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance – 10 grams or less (crystal meth).
Cafaro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed.
He was held pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, where he will be presented as a bail violator.
