Police pursue stolen water truck in Bristol

BRISTOL, NH — The Bristol Police Department pursued a stolen municipal water truck early Thursday morning after receiving a report from Cambridge police.

Officers received a call at approximately 4:58 a.m. advising that a stolen City Water Department truck was traveling northbound on Route 3A toward Bristol.

Officers located the vehicle and attempted to stop it.

The operator failed to stop, and the vehicle continued north through Bristol into New Hampton, Meredith, and eventually toward Laconia.

The Bristol Police Department coordinated with surrounding law enforcement agencies during the incident.

The Laconia Police Department later requested that the pursuit be terminated.

The Bristol Police Department terminated the pursuit at approximately 5:30 a.m.
