Multiple break-ins reported in Burgettstown, Langeloth

BURGETTSTOWN, PA — Police are investigating a series of overnight burglaries and vehicle break-ins that occurred in two Washington County communities.

The Smith Township Police Department responded to multiple calls beginning shortly after midnight Saturday at residences throughout Burgettstown and Langeloth.

The incidents include a burglary, vehicle break-ins, thefts and reports of suspicious activity, according to Patrolman Tyler Evans.

Police are asking residents and business owners to check their vehicles, businesses, residences and garages for missing, stolen or damaged items.

Anyone who discovers property loss or damage is asked to call 911.

Authorities are also requesting that anyone with surveillance cameras review footage from overnight for suspicious people or vehicles.
