STROUDSBURG, PA — A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with access device fraud and theft by deception following incidents at two pool supply stores.
Dilan Bryan, of Pennsylvania, was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility on May 3 at 8:08 p.m. from Bergen County, NJ.
Bryan was arraigned and released on unsecured bail.
Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to Pocono Pools & Spa on Route 611 on June 17 at 12:53 p.m. for a report of theft.
An employee reported that a customer called and purchased a pool cleaner machine over the phone.
Two males arrived at the store to pick up the item and the purchase was processed, but the transaction failed a week later for $1,377.95.
On July 1, the same two males returned to the store and attempted to purchase items with the same credit card.
The males fled the store while employees attempted to identify them.
The same two males then attempted the same theft at a sister store in Barrett Township, where they were arrested by Pocono Mountain Regional Police.
The suspects were identified as Dilan Bryan and Kiond Jones.
A felony arrest warrant was issued for Bryan on Nov. 25.
A felony arrest warrant was also issued for Jones.
