MECHANICSBURG, PA — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred at the intersection of Main and Market streets.
The crash was reported at approximately 4:56 p.m. on April 23, 2026.
A passenger in the struck vehicle told police they were traveling westbound in the first block of East Main Street approaching the intersection of Market Street.
The vehicle came to a stop behind another vehicle that was attempting to turn left onto South Market Street from East Main Street.
A vehicle behind them attempted to pass on the right and struck their vehicle.
The striking vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on West Main Street.
The vehicle was described as dark blue and “boxy” in appearance.
