Two arrested on retail theft charges in Camp Hill

CAMP HILL, PA — A Camp Hill Police Officer on routine patrol at the Camp Hill Shopping Center was advised of an active shoplifting incident at Boscov’s on Monday at approximately 4:23 p.m.

Police said a male and female had selected merchandise valued at $1,331.76 and left the store without paying.

A 42-year-old woman from Harrisburg was taken into custody.

During a search incident to arrest, police said the woman was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 51-year-old man from Harrisburg was also taken into custody.

Police said the man was found in possession of stolen items from other stores that he obtained in previous shoplifting incidents.

He was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.

Police said the man was found to have numerous driver’s licenses and identification cards belonging to other individuals.

The man used one of the names and dates of birth from the identification cards to identify himself to the investigating officer, according to police.

He was also charged with identity theft and false identification to law enforcement.
