Warrant issued in East Stroudsburg for drug charges

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — The Stroud Area Regional Police have issued an arrest warrant for Anaiza Rivera in connection with illegal narcotics sales on Milford Road.

Police began investigating reports in September of illegal drug activity at an apartment in East Stroudsburg.

Investigators identified Rivera, 28, of East Stroudsburg, as a suspect in the case.

According to police, narcotics sold from the residence were tested and found to contain fentanyl, heroin, xylazine, and bromazolam, which are all controlled substances.

Rivera faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal use of a communication facility.

Charges were filed and the arrest warrant was issued Feb. 10.

Anyone with information about Rivera’s whereabouts is asked to submit a tip to the Stroud Area Regional Police.

Tipsters may remain anonymous.

Rivera is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
