JAMESTOWN, NY — Police are investigating two connected shootings that occurred within 30 minutes of each other.
Officers responded to the area of E. 8th St. near Fulton St. at about 9:40 p.m. April 22, 2026, for reports of a shooting.
Officers located an 18-year-old male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
About 30 minutes later, officers responded to the 7-11 store on N. Main St. for another shooting.
Officers determined that no one was injured in the second incident.
Police said both shootings were targeted attacks and are connected.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
