BATH, NY — A 41-year-old man was arrested on two sealed indictment warrants April 23, 2026.
Steven Q. Farrell, of Bath, was located and arrested by members of the Village of Bath Police Department at approximately 2 p.m.
Farrell is charged by Grand Jury indictment with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, both B Felonies.
The arrest stems from a lengthy investigation into the possession and sale of crack cocaine in the Village of Bath in January 2026.
Farrell was processed and transported to Steuben County Court where he was arraigned and released pursuant to NYS Bail Reform.
Farrell was in police custody for approximately one hour prior to being released at arraignment.
Farrell is a two time convicted felon and currently under the supervision of the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
Farrell’s current parole status stems from a prior Bath Police Department investigation into the sale of controlled substances in the village, which resulted in a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree in 2022.
