HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A contractor was arrested on multiple fraud and theft charges following a complaint filed with the Lower Moreland Township Police Department.
William W. Green, 54, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody on April 21, 2026.
A victim reported an issue with a contractor to police on Friday, Oct. 31.
The victim had hired a contractor in August.
The contractor provided an estimate and requested a deposit but eventually failed to begin the project as scheduled, according to police.
An arrest warrant was obtained for Green.
Green faces charges including false statement to induce agreement for home improvement services, conspiracy to make false statements to induce agreement for home improvement services, receiving advance payment for services and failing to perform, conspiracy to receive advance payment for services and fail to perform, theft by deception-false impression, and theft by unlawful taking of movable property.
