WARWICK, R.I. — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 22-year-old man on a drunken driving charge following a wrong-way crash on Route 37 early Thursday morning.
Troopers arrested Joshua Bartholomew, of Warwick, at 3:09 a.m. April 23, 2026, and charged him with driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs, first offense.
Blood test results are pending.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a wrong-way operator on Route 37.
Bartholomew was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
He was released on a misdemeanor summons with a notice to appear in Third District Court at a later date.
